Who can gain access to the Eden^N computing cluster?

Anyone can gain access to the cluster. The essential condition is obtaining approval from the research group leader to join their group.

What is a research group?

A research group is an organizational unit that brings together individuals working under the supervision of a group leader. Typically, these include students, PhD candidates, and collaborators (both from within and outside the faculty or university). Research groups ensure fair resource allocation and enable monitoring of resource usage.

How can I gain access to the cluster?

If you are a student

  • Contact the leader of the research group you wish to join. Your account will be created upon their request.
  • If you do not know any research group leaders, try to persuade someone working at the Mini PW department (e.g., your supervisor) to submit a request to create a new group.

If you are a full-time researcher at Mini PW

  1. You can join an existing research group (see above) or submit a request to create your own group.
  2. Refer to the Research Groups page.

If you are external to the Mini PW department

  1. Contact us directly at: hpc.wmini@pw.edu.pl
